Amidst the worldwide pandemic crisis that we are in right now, people has always found a way to remain resilient and adapt to the new normal. The implementation of our programs in Brgy. La Concepcion has to proceed. The team hypertension decided to implement the activities that can be carried out without us in the community with the help and participation of the Brgy. officials, Brgy. Nurse, BHWs, BNS, and the residents. The team started by preparing for the said activities by making gantt charts, posters, pamphlets, and questionnaires. The distribution of the posters and pamphlets aided the team's goal to educate people more regarding hypertension. One of the main activity for this exposure as well is the training of the BHWs and BNS for BP and BMI taking that will aid the monitoring of the blood pressure of hypertensive individuals in their respective purok. The team also managed to select officers for the hypertension club and canvass for the price of anti-hypertensive medication. For the proper prescription of drugs, the team was also able to contact Dr. Rex for the consultation of hypertensive individuals. However, challenges brought about by the new normal has set limitations to the implementation of our activities particularly in the number and kind of activity that we can implement. Overall, the team hypertension was able to implement activities to the best of their ability with one thing in mind, padayon La Concepcion!
